Quick answer
Physical borrowing requires borrowing membership. An Online account does not by itself provide physical borrowing privileges. Visitors cannot borrow library materials.
Adult and children’s memberships may borrow up to 15 titles at a time. The standard initial loan period is 21 days.
Loan limits and initial period
| Membership | Maximum titles | Initial period |
|---|---|---|
| Adult | 15 | 21 days |
| Children’s | 15 | 21 days |
Renewals
Eligible borrowed items are automatically renewed up to two times, subject to the library’s circulation rules.
Returning and caring for items
Please handle library materials carefully and return them on time. Ask for help if an item is damaged or you are unsure about its return conditions.
Materials used inside the library
Rare books and reference materials are for use inside the library and are not available for borrowing. Other collections may have their own approved access conditions.
Digital borrowing
Members may use e-books, audiobooks and other resources through the Digital Library. Loan periods, limits and access conditions can vary by resource provider.
