EVANGELIZING PRESENCE OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH IN MARACAIBO, IN TIMES OF COVID-19.

PRESENCIA EVANGELIZADORA DE LA IGLESIA CATÓLICA EN MARACAIBO, EN TIEMPOS DE COVID-19.

The objective was to describe the evangelizing presence of the Catholic Church in the city of Maracaibo, through social networks in times of Covid-19. The research was descriptive with a non-experimental and documentary design. The content analysis matrix was used as an instrument. The population was made up of the social media accounts of the Archdiocese of Maracaibo. It is concluded that interaction with the Christian people is pursued, taking into consideration the transversal vertices, through the social networks Instagram, Facebook and Twitter, as an alternative to implement actions that allow the evangelization process to be disseminated. El objetivo fue describir la presencia evangelizadora de la iglesia católica en la ciudad de Maracaibo, a través de las redes sociales en tiempos de Covid-19. La investigación fue de tipo descriptiva con diseño no experimental y documental. Como instrumento se utilizó la matriz de análisis de contenido. La población estuvo constituida por las cuentas de las redes sociales de la Arquidiócesis de Maracaibo. Se concluye que se persigue la interacción con el pueblo cristiano, tomando en consideración los vértices transversales, mediante las redes sociales Instagram, Facebook y Twitter, como alternativa para instrumentar acciones que permitan divulgar el proceso evangelizador.
