      The objective of the study was to analyze the perception of Industrial Engineering students on the Product Design subject at the Cafam University Foundation, Colombia. The research began with the documentary review based on the contributions of Peter (2018), Molina and Sánchez (2019); highlighting Rassias (2016), who establishes the methods for the design of a product. The instrument was a questionnaire with simple selection alternatives. The type of research was analytical with a fieldwork design. It is concluded that a substantial change in the subject is necessary to achieve the development of the learning objectives. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

      El objetivo del estudio fue analizar la percepción de los estudiantes de Ingeniería Industrial sobre la asignatura Diseño de Producto en la Fundación Universitaria Cafam, Colombia. La investigación inicio con la revisión documental basados en los aportes de Peter (2018), Molina y Sánchez (2019); destacando Rassias (2016), quien establece los métodos para el diseño de un producto. El instrumento fue un cuestionario con alternativas de selección simple. El tipo de investigación fue analítica con diseño de trabajo de campo.
