      The objective of the study was to analyze Social Responsibility (SR) as an intelligent strategy from the student's perception in public universities: Universidad de la Guajira (UNIGUAJIRA) and Universidad Nacional Experimental "Rafael María Baralt" (UNERMB). The contributions of Rengifo (2019), Arce y González (2019); and, Ayoví (2019). It was analytical with non-experimental field design, with a sample of 54 students. It is concluded that SR, as an intelligent strategy from the students perception in these institutions, is good because they permanently project competitiveness, contributing to the social, educational and cultural benefit of communities, organizing SR interlocutors teams.       El objetivo del estudio consistió en analizar la Responsabilidad Social (RS) como estrategia inteligente desde la percepción estudiantil en las universidades públicas: Universidad de la Guajira (UNIGUAJIRA) y Universidad Nacional Experimental "Rafael María Baralt" (UNERMB). Mediante los aportes de Rengifo (2019), Arce y González (2019); y, Ayoví (2019). El mismo fue analítico con diseño no experimental de campo, con una muestra de 54 estudiantes. Se concluye que la RS, como estrategia inteligente desde la percepción estudiantil en estas instituciones, es buena porque permanentemente proyectan competitividad, contribuyendo al beneficio social, educativo y cultural de comunidades, organizando equipos interlocutores de RS.
