      This study studied Subjective and Objective Psychological Well-being, and Fatalism, Trauma and Irrational Posttraumatic Cognitions, in adults displaced by socio-political violence, living in Barranquilla, Colombia. Outcomes suggest that people who have been victims of forced displacement exhibit undeniable symptoms of psychosocial trauma, and that they also have elements associated to Mental Health.       La presente investigación ha estudiado el Bienestar Psicológico, Subjetivo y Social, el Fatalismo, y el Trauma y Cogniciones Irracionales Postraumáticas, en personas adultas desplazadas por la violencia sociopolítica, radicadas en la ciudad de Barranquilla, Colombia. Los resultados indican que si bien las personas víctimas del desplazamiento forzado, presentan innegables síntomas de trauma con un matiz psicosocial, también se encuentran en ellos elementos asociados a la Salud Mental.
