- Abstract:
  The purpose of the study was to describe the teaching perception of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) as an instructional resource, in the Educational Institutions of the municipality of El Paso, department of El Cesar, Colombia, considering the theoretical contributions of the MEN (2009-2013), Bautista et al (2014), Zarceño and Andreu (2015), Segovia et al (2012) Ferraro (2019) and Hernández (2017). The study was descriptive with a quantitative method. It was concluded that there is uncertainty in the teacher's perception of ICT, because they are appreciated as a limited instructional resource of little significance for the promotion of virtual interactions with students.
  El propósito del estudio radicó en describir la percepción docente sobre las Tecnologías de Información y Comunicación (TIC) como recurso instruccional, en las Instituciones Educativas del municipio El Paso, departamento El Cesar, Colombia, considerando los aportes teóricos del MEN (2009-2013), Bautista y col (2014), Zarceño y Andreu (2015), Segovia y col (2012) Ferraro (2019) y Hernández (2017). El estudio fue descriptivo con método cuantitativo. Se concluyó que existe incertidumbre en la percepción docente sobre las TIC, debido a que, son apreciadas como recurso instruccional limitado y de poca significancia para la promoción de las interacciones virtuales con estudiantes.
