THE NCCB AND PORTUGUESE LANGUAGE TEACHING: IN FOCUS THE SKILLS OF THE JOURNALISTIC-MEDIA FIELD. (English)
- Abstract:
In this article, we aim to verify the extent to which the BNCC skills (Elementary School), Portuguese Language curricular component, contemplate objects of knowledge and learning contexts that focus on a perspective of textual/discursive genres as indicated by the document's pedagogical foundation. Therefore, we analyzed a sampling of 19 skills in the field of journalistic-media activity, in the light of the Transitivity System (HALLIDAY; MATTHIESSEN, 2014), in order to identify the nature of the required cognitive processes, the nature of the participants (knowledge objects) and circumstances (learning context). The results indicate that, in general, the skills primarily contemplate mental processes that demand a cognitive effort from the student and require the mastery of knowledge objects that contemplate, to some extent, the linguistic and extralinguistic levels. Furthermore, we found that the selected circumstances highlight the learning context and focus the text/genre on a large part of the skills, associating the content with meaningful contexts. Neste artigo, objetivamos verificar em que medida as habilidades da BNCC (Ensino Fundamental), componente curricular Língua Portuguesa, contemplam objetos de conhecimentos e contextos de aprendizagem que focalizam uma perspectiva de gêneros textuais/discursivos conforme indica a fundamentação pedagógica do documento. Para tanto, analisamos uma amostragem de 19 habilidades do campo de atuação jornalístico-midiático, à luz do sistema de transitividade (HALLIDAY; MATTHIESSEN, 2014), com vistas a identificar a natureza dos processos cognitivos requeridos, a natureza dos participantes (objetos de conhecimento) e as circunstâncias (contexto da aprendizagem). Os resultados sinalizam que, de forma geral, as habilidades contemplam prioritariamente processos mentais, os quais demandam esforço cognitivo do aluno e requerem o domínio de objetos de conhecimento que contemplam, em alguma medida, os níveis linguístico e extralinguístico. Ademais, verificamos que as circunstâncias selecionadas evidenciam o contexto de aprendizagem e focalizam o texto/gênero em grande parte das habilidades, associando os conteúdos a contextos significativos.
