The article reports that notary public could be used by swindlers or thief in making fraud to residents in the U.S. In San Francisco, California, a local lender deceived his borrower by drafting a mortgage of $100,000 property he did not own. The lender forged the signature of the real owner and notarized it for authentication. Meanwhile, the trial court in Missouri invalidated a divorce because of the wrong legal language used in notary.
