Abstract: Diplomsko delo obravnava in podaja pregled nad številnimi področji, ki so potrebna za izgradnjo vgrajenih sistemov. Izdelava zajema razvoj novega sistema, ki je zgrajen iz Atmelovega mikrokrmilnika z AVR-jedrom. Sistem zajema mikrokrmilnik, ki je jedro sistema, kamero, s katero bomo zajemali slike, pospeškometer za merjenje pospeška ter spominsko kartico. Za komunikacijo med mikrokrmilnikom ter kamero smo uporabili univerzalni standardni zaporedni vmesnik, za pospeškometer smo uporabili analogno-digitalni pretvornik, za spominsko kartico pa smo uporabili vmesnik za zunanje serijske naprave SPI. Sistem ima možnost nadgradnje z dodatnimi priključki in dovolj prostora v programskem pomnilniku ; The final thesis deals with and gives an overview of many areas that are needed to build embedded systems. Production involves the development of a new system which includes the Atmel's microcontroller with AVR core. The system includes a microcontroller which is the core of the system, the camera which will include pictures, accelerometer for measuring acceleration and a memory card. For communication between the microcontroller and the camera we used a standard universal serial interface, accelerometer was used for analog to digital converter and the interface to the external serial SPI devices was used for a memory card. There is a possibility to upgrade the system with additional connectors and enough space in the program memory.
