The article focuses on the news regulations proposed by the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) to expand overtime protections for millions of workers employed by nonprofits, for-profits and governments. It further discussed an Action Alert issued by the National Council for Behavioral Health on May 2, 2016, to highlight the potentially devastating effects such a change would have on community-based mental health and addictions provider organizations.
