The article investigates the potential association between social media and Internt use and teenage violence. Topics discussed include the types of Internet use associated with increased aggressive behavior among teenagers, the factors that characterize problematic Internet use (PIU) and Internet addiction (IA) and the ways in which psychiatrists should deal with teenagers who exhibit risk factors predictive of violent behavior.
