The article reports on the litigation, ECHR 2018/11 Case of X v. Russia, 20 February 2018, no. 3150/15, at the European Court of Human Rights. The applicant had already been diagnosed with schizotypal personality disorder, when he was apprehended by the police on April 24, 2014. He was taken to a psychiatric hospital, where he was admitted involuntarily.
