The teaching of the piano in Cuba and the imprint of Teresita Junco from 1973-2009.

The following work is intended to offer a brief overview of the teaching of the piano in Cuba, as well as highlight the name of those who with their stamp have raised the quality of the Cuban piano school to the figure of the pianist and teacher Dagmar Teresita Junco Reyna (1946-2009). By addressing elements of his life and work, his contributions to the process of piano interpretation, the methodological work on works of the piano repertoire and his valuable notes on rhythm in Cuban music, allow teachers, pianists, students or others interested in the pianistic universe the possibility of understanding in an entertaining way the main elements to be taken into account in order to affirm as she did: "How easy it is to play the piano!" El siguiente trabajo realizado pretende ofrecer una breve panorámica de la enseñanza del piano en Cuba, así como resaltar el nombre de aquellos que con su impronta han elevado la calidad de la escuela pianística cubana hasta llegar a la figura de la pianista y profesora Dagmar Teresita Junco Reyna (1946-2009). Al abordar elementos de su vida y obra, sus aportes al proceso de interpretación pianística, al trabajo metodológico sobre las obras del repertorio pianístico y sus valiosos apuntes sobre el ritmo en la música cubana, permiten a docentes, pianistas, alumnos u otras personas interesadas en el universo pianístico la posibilidad de entender de una manera amena los principales elementos a tener en cuenta para poder afirmar tal cual lo hizo ella: "¡Qué fácil es tocar el piano!"
