      The article discusses how U.S. libraries are teaching financial literacy of an understanding of money and financial systems to children. Topics include the significance of practical skills to a young person's quality of life, findings of a study from the University of Wisconsin-Madison Center for Financial Security about the understanding of students of how money works, and how the American Library Association (ALA) promotes resources for libraries to enhance their financial literacy offerings.
