CONSCIÊNCIA SINTÁTICA NO PLANO TEXTUAL: UM ESTUDO REALIZADO COM ALUNOS DOS ANOS INICIAIS DO ENSINO FUNDAMENTAL I.

This article has as theme the syntactic awareness of children of the 3rd, 4th and 5th years of Elementary School I. The main objective is to expose the bases, processes and results of a study developed to examine the level of syntactic awareness (use and awareness in use) of 40 students from these school years, based on an instrument built for this purpose, focusing, in this article, the textual plan. It is theoretically supported on Psycholinguistics and its relations with Syntax, with regard to studies in the use and awareness in the use of ten selected syntactic contents. Methodologically, the syntactic awareness instrument, with focus on these topics, uses four operative categories, being presented in this article only the judgment task on the textual level. The results achieved are: a Syntactic awareness instrument for the investigation of the 3rd, 4th and 5th grade of Elementary School, focusing, in this article, the textual plan; the performance of students in the use of syntactic cases and in the syntactic awareness of their use evidenced by the application of the constructed instrument. The results obtained point, based on the statistical treatment, to the existing correlations with regard to syntactic content, use and awareness in use and school years. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Este artigo tem como tema a consciência sintática de crianças de 3°, 4° e 5° anos do Ensino Fundamental I. É seu objetivo expor as bases, os processos e os resultados de estudo desenvolvido para examinar o nível de consciência sintática (uso e consciência no uso) de 40 alunos desses anos escolares, com base em instrumento construído para esse fim, focalizando, neste artigo, o plano textual. Está apoiado teoricamente na Psicolinguística e em suas relações com a Sintaxe, no que se refere aos estudos sobre o uso e a consciência no uso de dez conteúdos sintáticos selecionados. Metodologicamente, o instrumento de avaliação da consciência sintática, com foco nesses conteúdos, utiliza quatro categorias operativas, sendo apresentada neste artigo apenas a tarefa de julgamento no plano textual. São resultados alcançados: o Instrumento de investigação do uso de conteúdos sintáticos e da consciência sintática no seu uso, de alunos do 3°, 4° e 5° anos do EF I, focalizando, neste artigo, o plano textual; o desempenho dos alunos no uso de casos sintáticos e na consciência sintática de seu uso evidenciado pela aplicação do instrumento construído. Os resultados obtidos apontam, com base no tratamento estatístico, as correlações existentes, no que se refere a conteúdos sintáticos, uso e consciência no uso e anos escolares. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
