      Recently, the discussions on the application of Maqasid as-Syariah (Hifz al-’Aql) in transforming and developing better human capital have been regarded as an important issue towards the society. For Malaysians, it is not a secluded issue anymore. As proactive steps, a positive action should be taken in blending the application of Maqasid as-Syariah (Hifz al-’Aql) with the National Education Philosophy, as it is a major framework in the formation of holistic and competitive human capital globally. The main objective of this paper’s study is to examine the concept of the Maqasid as-Syariah (Hifz al-’Aql), the scope of the National Education Philosophy, as well as the application of these concepts and scope in the educational system in Malaysia. The conceptual and qualitative methodologies of study shall be used in conducting a study on this paper. It will also cover comprehensive studies on these two main thrusts to identify the extent of the harmonization process in empowering and enhancing the future generation. It will also review the level of the application and influence towards the National Education Philosophy and the impact of education reforms based on the Islamic principles in Malaysia. In conclusion, it can be asserted that the concept of the Maqasid as-Syariah (Hifz al-’Aql) has become among the main and important pulses in shaping, empowering and enhancing the development of the educational system in Malaysia.
