      The objective was to describe the perception of the students from the University of Pamplona and the National Experimental University "Rafael María Baralt" about the communication skills developed by primary school teachers. The contributions of Martínez and Garcés (2020), Gracia, Adam, Carbó (2018), Valvo, Pérez and Sierra (2020), among others, were cited. The research was descriptive, supported by the qualitative method and field design. An in-depth interview with 8 questions was applied to a sample of twelve subjects. It was concluded that students from both institutions have a negative perception of the communication skills developed by primary school teachers. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

      El objetivo fue describir la percepción de los estudiantes de las Universidades de Pamplona y Nacional Experimental "Rafael María Baralt" sobre las competencias comunicativas desarrolladas por los maestros de primaria. Se citaron los aportes de Martínez y Garcés (2020), Gracia, Adam, Carbó (2018), Valvo, Pérez y Sierra (2020), entre otros. La investigación fue descriptiva, sustentada en el método cualitativo y diseño de campo. Se aplicó una entrevista de profundidad con 8 preguntas en una muestra de doce sujetos.
