The Opinions Male and Female Teachers of Mathematics about the Reasons for the Low Level of Academic Achievement among Secondary School Students.

The current research aims to identify the opinions of male and female mathematics teachers about the reasons that led to the low level of academic achievement among secondary school students. A simple random sample was selected for the research, totaling (25) male and female teachers of mathematics, and the research tool included a questionnaire It included some of the reasons for the decline, which consisted of (25) paragraphs and four aspects related to the school, curricula, teaching methods and teaching aids. Achievement among students, but in varying degrees, and one of the most important recommendations of the research is the necessity of training mathematics teachers to use modern educational means and joint cooperation between the administration and teachers within planned programs to treat the problem of low level of academic achievement, and the need to follow teaching methods that have proven success and efficiency. هدف البحث الحالی إلى التعرف على آراء مدرَسی ومدرسات مادة الریاضیات حول الأسباب التی أدت إلى تدنی مستوى التحصیل الدراسی لدى طلبة المرحلة الثانویة, تم إختیار عینة عشوائیة بسیطة للبحث بلغت فی مجملها (25) مدرَس ومدرَسة من مدرَسی مادة الریاضیات, وإشتملت أداة البحث على إستمارة إستبیان تضمنت بعض أسباب التدنی والتی تکونت من (25) فقرة وبواقع أربعة جوانب والتی تتعلق بالمدرَس وبالمناهج الدراسیة وبطرائق التدریس وبالوسائل التعلیمیة, ولتحقیق أهداف البحث إستخدم الباحثان المعالجات الإحصائیة متمثلة بالنسب المئویة والمتوسطات الحسابیة, وتوصل الباحثان إلى أن جمیع جوانب الدراسة کان لها دور فی تدنی مستوى التحصیل لدى الطلبة ولکن بنسب متفاوتة، وکان من أهم ما أوصى به البحث هو ضرورة تدریب مدرسَی ومدرسَات الریاضیات على إستخدام الوسائل التعلیمیة الحدیثة والتعاون المشترک ما بین الإدارة والمدرسین ضمن برامج مخطط لها فی علاج مشکلة تدنی مستوى التحصیل الدراسی, وضرورة إتباع أسالیب تدریس أثبتت نجاحها وکفاءتها فی تنمیة التحصیل, من أجل رفع مستوى التحصیل فی مادة الریاضیات وتزوید المدرَسة بمصادر التعلم ووسائل تعلیمیة حدیثة لکونها لغة هذا العصر.
