Former Singapore transport minister S. Iswaran, who is currently facing corruption charges, was hospitalized in Melbourne for a respiratory illness and was discharged on March 5th, according to the Straits Times. Iswaran had been admitted to Cabrini Malvern, a private hospital, and had received permission to extend his stay in Australia until March 19th due to health reasons.
