The Impact of the Swales Model on the Achievement of Second Grade Intermediate Students in Arabic Grammar and the Development of Their Social Intelligence.

يرمي هذا البحث التعرف الى: "أثر انموذج سوالز في تحصيل طلاب الصف الثاني المتوسط في مادة قواعد اللغة العربية وتنمية ذكائهم الاجتماعي". ولتحقيق هدفي البحث اعتمد الباحث على المنهج التجريبي، ولأجل ذلك صاغ الباحث الفرضيات المناسبة لبحثه. اقتصر البحث الحالي على طلاب الصف الثاني المتوسط، للعام الدراسي في صلاح الدين للعام الدراسي 2022-2023، وقد اعتمد الباحث على التصميم التجريبي ذي الضبط الجزئي. تألفت عينة البحث من (60) طالباً بواقع (30) طالباً للمجموعة التجريبية و(30) طالباً للمجموعة الضابطة، وتم اجراء التكافؤ بين المجموعتين في المتغيرات المطلوبة، اعد الباحث اختباراً تحصيلياً مؤلف من (40) فقرة من نوع الاختيار من متعدد، وأعد الباحث اختباراً للذكاء الاجتماعي مكون من(30) فقرة من نوع الاختيار من متعدد. وتم التحقق من صدق الاختبارين وثباتهما، طُبق الاختباران في نهاية التجربة، وعوملت النتائج باستعمال الحقيبة الاحصائية، وقد اظهرت النتائج: تفوق طلاب المجموعة التجريبية الذين درسوا مادة قواعد اللغة العربية على وفق انموذج سوالز على طلاب المجموعة الضابطة الذين درسوا المادة ذاتها (بالطريقة الاعتيادية) في اختبار التحصيل والذكاء الاجتماعي. في ضوء نتيجة البحث توصل الباحث الى الاستنتاجات الاتية: 1.عمل أنموذج سوالز على تغيير جو الدراسة إذ جعله أثر حيوية ومرحاً وبعيد عن الملل والرتابة. ويوصي الباحث بما يأتي: التأكيد من المديرية العامة للتربية على إستعمال إنموذج سوالز في تدريس الموادلأهميتها في في رفع قدرة الطلبة في جانب التحصيل. يقترح الباحث: مقارنة إنموذج سوالز مع نماذجٍ أخرى في تنمية الذكاء. This research aims to identify the effect of the Swales model on the achievement of second-grade intermediate students in Arabic grammar and the development of their social intelligence. In order to achieve the two goals of the research, the researcher relied on the experimental method, and for this reason, the researcher formulated the appropriate hypotheses for his research. The current research was limited to students in the second intermediate grade for the academic year 2022-2023. The researcher relied on the experimental design with partial control. The research sample consisted of (60) students, with (30) students for the experimental group and (30) students for the control group, and equivalence was made between the two groups in the variables required for his research. The researcher prepared an achievement test consisting of (40) items of multiplechoice type. The researcher prepared a social intelligence test consisting of (30) multiple-choice items the validity and reliability of the two tests were verified. The two tests were applied at the end of the experiment, and the results were processed using the statistical bag. The results showed: The students of the experimental group who studied Arabic grammar according to the Swales model excelled over the students of the control group who studied the same subject (in the usual way) in achievement test and social intelligence. In light of the results of the research, the researcher reached the following conclusions : 1. The Swales model changed the study atmosphere by making it lively, fun, and far from boredom and monotony. The researcher recommends the following: Emphasis from the General Directorate of Education on the use of the Swales model in teaching subjects due to its importance in raising students’ ability in terms of achievement.
