- Abstract:
The article shows how parents at Mount Pleasant School District in Michigan defeated right-wing activists, protected transgender students and provided a path for winning the culture war that threatened to cancel diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) efforts. It informs the attack of progressive parents on Bree Moeggenberg, chair of the right-wing parents' advocacy group Moms for Liberty, and the legal challenges to the executive order calling for compliance with the 2020 version of Title IX.
