Restriction to the Current Sentence in the Interpretation of Al Tahir bin Ashour (1393AH).

الحمد لله رب العالمين والصلاة والسلام على عبده ونبيه، ومن تبعه بإحسان إلى يوم الدين، وبعد، فإن التقييد من المصطلحات الفقهية التي سبق الفقهاء في استعمالها للنحاة، وبلغو فيه مبلغا من حيث التنظير والتطبيق وافردوا للإطلاق والتقييد مباحث خاصة في دلالة الألفاظ، وقد استعمل النحاة في التقعيد النحوي، وفي دراسة الجملة العربية المكونة من المسند والمسند إليه المطلق والمقيد لمعرفة مطلقها من مقيدها، وهذا لا يدل على عدم علم النحاة المتقدمين بهذا المصطلح، بل كانوا على علم به واستعملوه بمفهومه أو لفظه، واستعماله كان في التطبيق فقط، ولكن لم يعرف عند النحاة بحد خاص له يبين مفهومه، وطرقه إلا عند المتأخرين منهم عندما دخل العقل والمنطق في الدرس النحوي وكثرة الشروحات والحواشي أصبحنا نری ظهور مصطلح الإطلاق والتقييد وتكلم النحاة عنه، ويأتي التقييد في النحو العربي بطرق مختلفة منها التقييد بالمفاعيل والتقييد بالتوابع والتقييد بالحال والتقييد بالحروف والتقييد بشبه الجملة وغيرها من القيود، واقتصرنا في بحثنا هذا على "التقييد بالجملة الحالية". Restriction is one of the jurisprudential terms that grammarians have previously used, and they have reached great lengths in terms of theory and application. They have devoted special investigations to absoluteness and restriction in the meaning of words. Grammarians have used it in grammatical restriction, and in studying the Arabic sentence. This does not indicate that the early grammarians were not aware of this term. Rather, they were aware of it and used it in its meaning or pronunciation. They used it in application only, but it was not known among the grammarians with a special definition for it that explains its concept and methods, except among the later ones when reason and logic entered the grammatical lesson. With the abundance of explanations and footnotes, we began to see the emergence of the term generalization and restriction, and grammarians talked about it. Restriction in Arabic grammar comes in various ways, including restriction by objects, restriction by subjunctive functions, restriction by adverbs, and other restrictions.
