      This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the Nearpod-based Inquiry Based Learning (INO-IBL) innovation in improving the scientific reasoning abilities of high school students. The research method used was quantitative with a pre-experimental one group pretest-posttest design. The research sample consisted of 35 grade XI MIPA students from a public high school in Bandung City, selected using purposive sampling. The research instrument was a multiple-choice scientific reasoning test measuring aspects of variable identification, proportional reasoning, probabilistic reasoning, combinatorial reasoning, and deductive hypothesis testing. Data were analyzed using the paired sample t-test and effect size calculation (Cohen’s d). The results showed a significant increase in the average scores between the pretest and posttest with a p-value = 0.000 and an effect size of 4.64, which is categorized as a very large effect. The conclusion of this study states that the Nearpod-based Inquiry Based Learning (INO-IBL) innovation is effective in improving the scientific reasoning abilities of high school students. The combination of a structured inquiry approach with the support of the interactive Nearpod platform creates a learning environment that encourages deep cognitive engagement and directly trains the components of scientific reasoning.       Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas inovasi pembelajaran Inquiry Based Learning (INO-IBL) berbasis Nearpod dalam meningkatkan kemampuan penalaran ilmiah siswa SMA. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain pre-experimental one group pretest-posttest. Sampel penelitian terdiri atas 35 siswa kelas XI MIPA di salah satu SMA Negeri Kota Bandung yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes penalaran ilmiah berbentuk pilihan ganda yang mengukur aspek identifikasi variabel, penalaran proporsional, probabilistik, kombinatorial, dan hipotesis deduktif. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji paired sample t-test dan perhitungan effect size (Cohen’s d). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan skor rata-rata yang signifikan antara pretest dan posttest dengan nilai p = 0,000 serta effect size sebesar 4,64 yang tergolong dalam kategori efek sangat besar. Simpulan penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa Inovasi Inquiry Based Learning (INO-IBL) berbasis Nearpod terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan penalaran ilmiah siswa SMA. Kombinasi pendekatan inkuiri yang terstruktur dengan dukungan platform interaktif Nearpod menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang mendorong keterlibatan kognitif mendalam dan melatih komponenkomponen penalaran ilmiah secara langsung.
