    • Abstract:
This study seeks to shed light on the regional context of the Iranian–Israeli war, which is considered the most significant conflict in the Middle East since the Iraq War in 2003. It aims to identify the main factors that triggered the war between Iran and Israel, examine its repercussions on both Iranian and Israeli domestic arenas, and analyze the United States’ strategy to restore balance in the Middle East. The study also explores President Donald Trump’s vision of this war, his reading of the Middle East, and his interpretation of the recent regional transformations. Furthermore, the study endeavors to analyze the foundations of U.S. strategy in the Middle East and understand its military, diplomatic, and economic tools. This is achieved through a cross-reading of repositioning dynamics, the management of the diplomatic deterrence equation, and energy policies. The ultimate goal is to provide a more accurate picture of the horizons of American influence and the prospects for re-engineering the balance of power in the region. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
