The Level of Digital Citizenship Practice and Its Relationship to Social Responsibility Awareness Among Social Studies Teachers in Tabuk City. (English)

This research aimed to identify the level of practicing the dimensions of digital citizenship and the level of awareness of the dimensions of social responsibility, as well as to examine the relationship between them among female social studies teachers in the city of Tabuk. The descriptive correlational approach was used due to its suitability for the nature and objectives of the research. The research instrument was a questionnaire consisting of (81) items distributed across two main domains: digital citizenship (48 items) and social responsibility (33 items). The instrument was administered to a sample of (87) female teachers. The results showed that the level of practicing the dimensions of digital citizenship among the teachers was high, with an overall mean of (4.42) and a standard deviation of (0.63). The dimension of digital respect ranked first with a mean of (4.44), followed by digital education with a mean of (4.43), and digital protection with a mean of (4.40). The results also indicated that the level of awareness of the dimensions of social responsibility was also high, with an overall mean of (4.61) and a standard deviation of (0.50). The social dimension ranked first with a mean of (4.66), followed by the environmental dimension with a mean of (4.59), and the economic dimension with a mean of (4.58). The results of Pearson’s correlation coefficient revealed a strong, positive, and statistically significant relationship between the level of practicing the dimensions of digital citizenship and the level of awareness of the dimensions of social responsibility. The research recommends providing an integrated digital infrastructure in schools to support effective digital practices and implementing periodic training programs for female teachers in the areas of digital citizenship and social responsibility, focusing on applied aspects such as the digital marketplace and financial literacy [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

هدف هذا البحث إلى التعرف على مستوى ممارسة أبعاد المواطنة الرقمية، ومستوى الوعي بأبعاد المسؤولية المجتمعية، والكشف عن العلاقة بينهما لدى معلمات الدراسات الاجتماعية بمدينة تبوك. وتم استخدام المنهج الوصفي الارتباطي لملاءمته لطبيعة البحث وأهدافه. وتمثلت أداة البحث في استبانة مكونة من (۸۱) فقرة موزعة على مجالين رئيسين: المواطنة الرقمية (٤٨) فقرة، والمسؤولية المجتمعية (۳۳) فقرة، وقد طبقت الأداة على عينة بلغ حجمها (۸۷) معلمة. وقد أظهرت النتائج أن مستوى ممارسة أبعاد المواطنة الرقمية لدى المعلمات جاء مرتفعًا بمتوسط كلي (٤.٤٢) وانحراف معياري (٠.٦٣) ، حيث تفوق بعد الاحترام الرقمي بمتوسط (٤.٤٤) ، يليه التعليم الرقمي بمتوسط (٤.٤٣) ، ثم الحماية الرقمية بمتوسط (٤٠٤٠). كما بينت النتائج أن مستوى الوعي بأبعاد المسؤولية المجتمعية جاء مرتفعا أيضا بمتوسط كلي (٤.٦١) وانحراف معياري (٠.٥٠) ، حيث تفوق البعد الاجتماعي بمتوسط (٤٠٦٦) ، يليه البيئي بمتوسط (٤.٥٩)، ثم الاقتصادي بمتوسط (٤.٥٨). وأوضحت نتائج اختبار معامل ارتباط بيرسون وجود علاقة ارتباطية طردية قوية ودالة إحصائيا بين مستوى ممارسة أبعاد المواطنة الرقمية ومستوى الوعي بأبعاد المسؤولية المجتمعية. ويوصي البحث بتوفير بنية تحتية رقمية متكاملة في المدارس لدعم الممارسات الرقمية الفاعلة، وتنفيذ برامج تدريبية دورية للمعلمات في مجالات المواطنة الرقمية والمسؤولية المجتمعية تركز على الجوانب التطبيقية مثل: السوق الرقمي والثقافة المالية. الكلمات المفتاحية: [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
