      The article reports on the postponement of an international meeting of the American Association of University Professors on academic boycotts. The purpose behind this postponement is inadvertent distribution of an anti-Semitic article "The Jewish Declaration of War on Nazi Germany: The Economic Boycott of 1933," that appeared in the January/February 2001 issue of The Barnes Review, to those planning to attend the meeting. The article says that Adolf Hitler's actions against Jewish people were a defensive measure rather than an offensive measure and were a response to Jewish leaders' call for an economic boycott of Germany.
