- Abstract:
The article discusses some recent lessons about international cooperation in science. In today's divided world, international scientific activities between nations are possibly the most significant of the roles science and scientists can play. According to a famous thinker, cooperation in science can provide a basis for understanding and communication of ideas between people. Science also offers a unique opportunity for cooperative endeavors that can contribute in a major way to the reduction of tension between nations. Reasons for cooperation are presented.
