      The article focuses on a survey of 450 professionals regarding mobile text messaging. According to the study, companies are able to distribute marketing messages or other time-sensitive customer communications through mobile text messaging. Text messaging is considered to be a key means of sending alerts and notifications by about 83 percent. Text messaging for business purposes are used by more than 70 percent of professionals. Usage will be increased by 37 percent this year compared with their usage a year ago.
