In this article the author considers approaches to the mathematical education of gifted children. He offers suggestions for how mathematical puzzles, or brainteasers, can be incorporated into a curriculum to challenge gifted students. He emphasizes a belief that the honing of critical thinking skills can be the most important takeaway for students.
