Legislative framework for the water supply in Mexico.

The article focuses on a study which compares water sanitation laws and methods and examines the feasibility of integrating recommendations issued by international organizations into Mexican legislation. It notes that there is a need to widen the range of substances and organisms measured in the water, if there are climate, demographic, and industry changes. Challenges identified are improving equipment sensitivity and specificity and removing contaminants hindering with the process.
