      The article focuses on the decision of Colombia to free its peso. It states that Colombia, despite of being one of the most stubborn advocates of meddling with regards to the economy, suddenly freed its peso. It says that before the freeing of peso, it was already traded at 2½. Meanwhile, Colombia's move was expected to lead into the deterrence of dollar-draining imports, decrease of trade debt, and boost for dollar-earning exports' producers.
