- Abstract:
The article discusses the harassment of researchers of climate-change in an attempt to instill doubt among the public and legislators in 2010. It states the hacking done on servers at the University of East Anglia in England in November 2009, in which several electronic-mail (e-mail) correspondence sent among climate-change scientists were downloaded. Opponents of climate-change such as Oklahoma Senator James criticized a study by Michael Mann of the Pennsylvania State University in Philadelphia on the average increases in global temperature in years. Also noted is the need to disclose any evidence against scientists and academics who tried to defraud the state. Institutions are advised to be ready to defend those who are criticized.
