      The article reports on the progress of the major projects by the Five-Year Plan of Argentina President Juan Peron as of February 28, 1948. The Salto Grande program, which includes a hydroelectric facility on the Uruguay River, is still a year from actual development. The natural gas pipeline from the oil fields of Comodoro Rivadavia to Buenos Aires should be completed sometime in 1949. The country was able to triple its imports from the U.S. in 1947 from 193 million U.S. dollars to 683 million U.S. dollars.
