    • Abstract:
The article examines a media campaign launched by Conservative political action committees (PAC) aimed at expediting Congressional approval for the economic program of U.S. President Ronald Reagan in 1981. Combining television and print advertising, the campaign has included advertisements in "The Washington Post" and other newspapers which support the economic proposals of Reagan. Some Republican leaders claim that the PAC that support the program only want to benefit from Reagan's presidency.
