      The month of July of 2011 marked the 20th anniversary of Revista de Ingenieria at Universidad de los Andes. Based on the interviews conducted to the current and former two editors that the journal has had, the current article takes over the journal's history with the purpose of commemorating its evolution and wide range of collaborations and contributions over the past two decades, which in turn have allowed the Revista de Ingenieria to keep driving the production of academic and scientific knowledge in the area of Engineering, in Colombia, Latin America and the World.       En el mes de julio de 2011 se celebraron 20 años de creación de la Revista de Ingeniería de la Universidad de los Andes. A partir de entrevistas realizadas a los tres editores con los que ha contado esta publicación, el presente artículo hace un recorrido por su historia con el propósito de conmemorar su evolución y la amplia cantidad de colaboraciones y aportaciones a lo largo de estas dos décadas, las cuales le han permitido a la Revista de Ingeniería seguir impulsando la producción académica y científica en el área de la Ingeniería en Colombia, en Latinoamérica y en el mundo.
