Sufficient progress has been made by Public Health Innovation and Research in Europe (PHIRE), a 30-month project coordinated by the European Public Health Association (EUPHA). The World Health Organization (WHO) Regional Committee has set a new date of 2015 to meet the goal of eliminating measles and rubella. The 6th European Public Health Conference is to be held November 13-16, 2013 in Brussels, Belgium.
