- Abstract:
The article discusses the increasing adaptation of wildlife to urban environments. It is noted that a diverse range of species can been found in New York City, including white-tailed deer, red-tailed hawks, and beavers, attributing the change to pollution controls and increased green space. Particular focus is given to the growth of urban coyote populations in North America, which are found to have higher survival rates than those in rural areas.
