- Abstract:
The article presents the author's commentary on the school systems of smaller de-industrialized U.S. cities as of 2014, highlighting the renewal efforts of the organization Say Yes to Education. Introductory details are given noting how smaller cities struggle more with education issues than large cities because they lack the diversified and large-scale economies to balance out their deficiencies. Say Yes is then profiled as a successful organization promoting educational reform in such cities.
