Abstract: The article presents a qualitative study based on focus groups, whose main objective is to analyze the perceptions that different groups of people with disabilities have regarding the products and services offered by companies in the tourism sector, with emphasis on the images they project, the accessibility information they transmit and the communication and provision of services once the person is at the destination. The results point to the need for a systemic, integral and structural change in the sector that takes into account the intrinsic diversity of citizens. El artículo presenta un estudio, de tipo cualitativo y basado en grupos focales, cuyo objetivo principal es analizar las percepciones que distintos colectivos de personas con discapacidad tienen con respecto a los productos y servicios ofertados por las empresas del sector turístico, poniendo el acento en las imágenes que proyectan, en la información en materia de accesibilidad que transmiten y en la comunicación y prestación de los servicios una vez que la persona se encuentra en el destino. Los resultados apuntan hacia la necesidad de un cambio sistémico, integral y estructural en el sector que tenga en cuenta la diversidad intrínseca de la ciudadanía.
