    • Abstract:
Eleven new species are described: Achaica elongata n.sp. (Philippines), Achaica lumawigi n.sp. (Philippines), Achaica perplexa n.sp. (Laos), Agastocerus parallelus n.sp. (Malaysia), Agastocerus flavofasciatus n.sp. (Philippines), Galbimorpha monstrosa n.sp. (Vietnam), Galbimorpha robusta n.sp. (Philippines), Galbites desgodinsi n.sp. (India), Galbites inexspectatus n.sp. (Philippines), Galbites ismaeli n.sp. (Philippines) and Galbites solomonensis n.sp. (Solomon Islands). Four formerly synonymized taxa are regarded as valid species: Galbites borealis (Hisamatsu, 1980) NEW STATUS [Pterotarsus], Galbites bakeri (Fleutiaux, 1926) NEW STATUS [Pterotarsus], Galbites mouhoti (Fleutiaux, 1924) NEW STATUS [Pterotarsus] and Galbites similis (Cobos), 1962 NEW STATUS [Pterotarsus]. Two taxa are placed in a new genus: Achaica kobayashii (Muona) NEW COMBINATION [Agastocerus] and Achaica haddeni (Muona) NEW COMBINATION [Agastocerus]. The gender of the genus Galbites Fleutiaux is shown to be masculine, not feminine as previously treated, and the names are corrected accordingly when appropriate. The distributions of the species are updated and a key for their identification is provided.
