      This is video of the Alumni Park Ground Breaking that took place in front of Alumni Hall on the campus of Springfield College on October 17, 1998. The video is around 27 minutes long. It features Tamari Kidess Lucy, director of Alumni Affairs, and Bob "Whitey" Burnham as the MC. Interim Springfield College President Robert N. Aebersold also speaks. There is a ceremonial groundbreaking and a ribbon is also cut. ; The film technician states, "Tape begins abruptly. Tracking issues at start. Audio is on two channels. Picture is blown out, luma too high on recording. Headswitching is visible across the bottom of the tape."
