What Do the Gardeners Talk about During Spring and Summer? – Some Remarks on the Influence of Seasons on the Internet Communication in the Gardeners’ Milieu ; O czym wiosną i latem rozmawiają ogrodnicy? – kilka uwag o wpływie pór roku na komunikację w Internecie (na podstawie serwisu Instagram)

The aim of this article was to analyse how the process of changing the seasons influenced the communication in the gardeners’ milieu. The research was based on the texts published on Instagram during spring and summer. The accounts that were visited are focusing on the plant cultivation. The article was written from the pragmalinguistic point of view and the methodology was mostly rooted in the speech act theory. The key elements of the research concentrated on the illocutionary purposes of speech acts, on the linguistic means of communication and the context of the quoted speeches. It has been proved that the majority of the speech acts published in the spring belonged to two categories: informative and directive acts whilst during the summer the emotive acts and the acts of boasting are the most common. ; Celem artykułu jest przeanalizowanie wpływu pór roku na proces komunikacji przebiegający między ogrodnikami. Analizie poddano wypowiedzi publikowane wiosną i latem w serwisie Instagram na kontach o tematyce związanej z uprawą roślin. Zastosowano pragmalingwistyczną metodologię badawczą ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem teorii aktów mowy. Poszczególne wypowiedzi analizowane były z punktu widzenia celu illokucyjnego, środków językowych oraz kontekstu ich użycia. Wykazano, że wiosną w komunikacji ogrodników przeważają akty mowy o charakterze informacyjnym i dyrektywnym, latem zaś akty chwalenia się oraz akty emotywno-oceniające.
