Abstract: Information and communication technologies ICTs, have transformed our reality in an accelerated way, these have become a powerful and versatile resource in all areas and fields of society, within which education sciences stand out, since they are essential tools and resources to direct, guide and develop the didactic process in all academic disciplines, in special mathematics, characterized for being a complex discipline to address teaching strategies that achieve success in the achievement of learning and for its vital importance in comprehensive and specialized training according to the curricular design of university careers. The objective of this research is to interpret the theoretical reflections derived from the implementation of information and communication technologies, commonly called ICTs, in the process of teaching and learning mathematics. A documentary research design was applied, using as sources of information 35 scientific documents selected through internet search engines and websites of scientific publications, among which Google Academic, Scielo, and Dialnet. The conclusions obtained point out the great positive impact of ICTs in the teaching and learning process of mathematics, the challenge that training in new technologies represents for teachers and students, and the permanent training of teachers in pedagogical practice to achieve innovative and effective proposals in the implementation of a diversity of digital resources offered by ICTs, therefore, it is essential to achieve a paradigm shift that encourages cooperation and collaboration to achieve these changes characterized by historical, sociocultural resistance. ; Las Tecnologías de la información y comunicación TIC’s, han transformado nuestra realidad de manera acelerada, estas se han convertido en un recurso de gran alcance y versatilidad en todas las áreas y campos de la sociedad, dentro de los cuales se destaca las ciencias de la educación, puesto que, son unas herramientas y recursos imprescindibles para dirigir, orientar y ...
