    • Abstract:
Zaključak: Derivati ferocena uzrokuju smrt tumorskih stanica i smanjuju njihov rast. Postotak inhibicije ovisi o samoj koncentraciji spoja i o staničnoj liniji. ; Introduction: Organometallic compounds due to their properties, can be used in the treatment of various diseases, such as cancer and malaria. Objective: The aim of the study is to examine the antiproliferative potential of ferrocene derivatives on the growth of normal and tumor cells under in vitro conditions. To define the derivatives that has the highest tumor cell growth performance while simultaneously not inhibiting the growth of normal cell cultures. Materials and Methods: The cell lines in suspension (Raji and K562) and adherent cell lines (HeLa, CaCo-2 and MDCK) were used in this research. Cell lines were incubated on the temperature of 37°C with 5% CO2. After treating the cells with the ferrocene derivatives (x-32, x-33, x-34, x-35, HŠ-11-1 and AM381) and incubation for 72 hours, the number of viable cells was determined by MTT test and measuring their apsorbance on spectrophotometer. Results: The highest inhibitory effect on cell lines were derivatives x-32 and x-35, while ...
