Abstract: This research aims to reflect on how young women who comply with socio-educational measures in an educational center understand the phenomenon of violence. We start from the concept of adolescence brought by the Socio-Historical Psychology, the study about adolescents who are authors of infringing acts and different theoretical references about the concept (s) of Violence. We conducted interviews with two young women who meet socio-educational measures at the Aldaci Barbosa Mota Educational Center (CEABM). As a way of phenomenological analysis of the data, we reflect on the experience of young women, providing a "meeting" between their speeches and the chosen theoretical framework. With this study, we intend to broaden the field of reflection and discussions on the subject, as well as contribute to the work performed by professionals who deal with young people who have committed an offense or who live in situations of social risk. ; Esta pesquisa visa refletir como as jovens que cumprem medida sócio-educativa em um centro educacional compreendem o fenômeno da violência. Partimos do conceito de adolescência trazida pela Psicologia Sócio-Histórica, do estudo sobre adolescentes autores de atos infracionais e de diferentes referenciais teóricos acerca do(s) conceito(s) de Violência. Realizamos entrevistas com duas jovens que cumprem medida sócio-educativa no Centro Educacional Aldaci Barbosa Mota (CEABM). Como forma de análise fenomenológica dos dados, refletimos sobre a vivência das jovens, proporcionando um “encontro” entre suas falas e o referencial teórico escolhido. Pretendemos, com este estudo, ampliar o campo de reflexões e discussões sobre o tema, bem como contribuir com o trabalho executado por profissionais que lidam com jovens que cometeram algum ato infracional ou que vivem em situação de risco social.
