    • Abstract:
      Sustainable development is a systemic concept, which aims at global development together with the concern with the preservation of nature. This study aims to apply the Rawlsian Theory into sustainable development. Considerations seems to allow that, with the collaboration of society in an egalitarian and cooperative way, it is possible to mitigate or overcome existing environmental challenges. The present study it presents a new aspect capable of helping in the solution and management of environmental issues currently faced globally.
