Abstract: Even though it is present in all people’s lives, the Sexual Education and Sexuality are seen as a taboo in the school space and, for that reason, it is barely approached during teachers training. With that in mind, schools as a place dedicated to sharing knowledge historically accumulated can become a means of breaking the paradigms of a unilateral, quiet and repressive Sexual Education that imposes ways of being and acting socially from the conception of what being a ‘man’ and ‘woman’ is. That said, we consider important to comprehend how the studies on Sexual Education take place in the undergraduate course of Pedagogy in the Federal University of Paraíba and which conception of sexuality the graduates acquire during their graduation. To achieve our goals, a qualitative research was made considering a historic and dialectic materialism perspective, in which we analyzed educational documents that guide our course. It was also developed a semi structured interview for 5 students who graduated in the past 5 years in the institution. During the research we identified that the participants do a direct relation between Sexual Education and Sexuality, also connecting them to the concept of identity. Finally, we concluded that the absence of approaches about the Sexual Education in the undergraduate teaching degree courses result in the distancing of themes related to it in the basics education and, despite tangential, it is unanimous that teachers defend its contribution to the construction of healthy relationships at school. Besides, we highlight that in the subjects which were analysed there is a lack of discussions on social cultural questionings, which are directly related to the individuals' conception and experiences in society. ; Mesmo que presentes em todas as vivências dos sujeitos, a educação sexual e a sexualidade são vistas com tabu no espaço escolar e, por este motivo, pouco são abordadas na formação docente.
