Radicalización Yihadista en Centros Penitenciarios

The following report aims to overview the causes and key points of Jihadist radicalization in the Spanish penitentiary facilities. This investigation summarizes the dynamic processes which turn standard prisoners into believers of the Jihadist movement. Exploring some of the current plans of action to prevent radicalization we highlight the efficiency of our current Spanish Programs. Radicalization is one of the biggest challenges which our current prisons systems must carefully manage, the Spanish Penitentiary Guidance emphasizes on treatment as key factor to control individual Radicalization. We also point some of actual malfunctions which could contribute to develop these threatening dynamics. Studying the current impact of long sentences on this radical group. We compile the main differences between traditional terrorist recruitment and the Jihadist view. Criminology as multidisciplinary science is a basic tool to understand individual radicalization behaviors in our current prisons, where the implementation of Preventing Measures play an important role to prevent extremist behaviors from our Prisoners. En esta investigación nos aproximamos a la eficacia de los programas de prevención en nuestros centros españoles.
