Abstract: International audience ; The discovery of the urinary microbiota (UM) 10 years ago significantly changed our understanding of urine composition, which had long been considered sterile 1,2 . This paradigm shift was largely enabled by the use of culturomics. The aim of this study was to characterize the UM of 100 healthy, premenopausal women (18-45 years old), and to correlate the microbiological findings with clinical data prospectively collected via self-administered questionnaires (history of urinary tract infections, comorbidities, lifestyle habits, etc.).
