    • Abstract:
      his article discusses educational inclusion of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder - ASD, pondering the possibilities and challenges of this inclusion, in general, and in professional and Technological Education, in particular. The study was developed in a qualitative approach, based on the bibliographic-documentary research method. Data acquisition occurred virtually, through access to the database of the Catalogue of Dissertations and Theses of the Coordination of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES). It was concluded that the inclusion of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder demands didactic and pedagogical adaptations and the social commitment of all those involved in the educational process, especially education professionals, family, society and public policy formulators. This inclusion is effective when students with ASD obtain advances (although modest and partial) in the processes of learning, socialization, self-care and understanding of the dimensions of citizenship. It was also identified the need to expand studies on the subject, especially with regard to the field of Professional and Technological Education, because the advancement of studies in the area may contribute to the improvement of the processes of inclusion of these students in this educational modality. ; Este artículo aborda el tema de la inclusión educativa de estudiantes con Trastorno del Espectro Autista - TEA, ponderando las posibilidades y desafíos de esa inclusión, en general, y de la Educación Profesional y Tecnológica, en particular. El estudio se desarrolló en un enfoque cualitativo, basado en el método de investigación bibliográfico-documental.
